Quick report
We rode into Frazier Lake boundary today and toured into Arrowhead bowl. On southerly rock faces we observed warming snow surfaces resulting in roller balls. North aspects still held cold soft snow. All aspects appeared to have a stout supportable crust below the recent snow. We experienced strong winds from the south. Winds from the north appear to have been stripping most faces in the Fairy Lake area lately and today’s south winds are now loading those slopes. We observed small isolated wind slabs but nothing that propagated more than a few feet or deeper than 3-6”.
