Snowpit dug to the ground. 8600' on NW aspect. 130 cms total depth.
Two areas of concern were 1. recent wind slab and 2. facets remaining at the ground. Wind slab (20cms) reactive to shovel shear and ECTN. Facets at the ground reactive to initial CT-easy.
No other red flags from the day.
