After about 2 turns off the top of Raymond into the main chute, my partner triggered a D1 wind slab. We had discussed the potential for a slide and decided on an island of safety. The slide broke about 10 feet above him, and I yelled "Avalanche" to alert him of it. He made it to the island of safety and was not caught. I took a photo, but it's difficult to see the crown.
