Quick report

We observed about 18” of graupel snow on top of the underlying harder crust layer at the base of Hillman’s highway (just above the lower rock debris field). The graupel was loose, unconsolidated and relatively unsupportive, and easily broke loose under heavy ski/hand pressure. No dry slabs were observed at this location.
