Quick report

Seemed like a foot of new light, fluffy powder snow. We toured up to Yodelin’s Mount Weird. Lower elevations (below ~4500ft) were quite branchy, with exposed bushes and logs. Every party we met had a harrowing time getting down. One member of our party caught their ski on a branch and unfortunately suffered a knee injury. It’s definitely still early season conditions out there (especially in the trees). Above 4500ft, travel was significantly easier, though tree wells were still abundant. No signs of instability.
