Forecast Snow Stability: The older snowpack will remain well bonded and stable. Wet snow instabilities will occur in the thin covering of recent snow when the temperature rises during the day but these will not be significant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight it will be dry with Moderate South-West winds and a freezing level around 800 metres. During the day the wind will become strong, the freezing level will rise above the summits and precipitation initially falling as snow on the higher summits will soon turn to rain at all levels. Observed Weather Influences: Strong North-Westerly winds. Showers falling as snow above 800 metres. Freezing level around 900 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy older snowpack is well bonded and stable. The dusting of fresh snow, above 800 metres, is not significant. The avalanche hazard is Low.
