Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy snow cover will continue to thaw but remain well bonded and demonstrate good stability throughout. Greatest snow cover will be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres. Patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Continuing mild with the freezing level above the summits. Other than overnight drizzle it will be dry. A moderate to fresh breeze is expected, generally South-Westerly during the day. Observed Weather Influences: A mild day with light rain showers around 1000 metres. Winds were initially very strong but gradually eased, Westerly throughout. ObservedSnowStability: The old snow continues to thaw and soften but remains well bonded. Greatest amounts are found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres. Patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
