Avalanche Activity

Increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as the moisture increases.

Already in the early morning, a few wet and gliding avalanches are possible. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in steep terrain at elevated altitudes and on shady slopes. These are to be evaluated with care and prudence in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling.

Snowpack Structure

Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be severely restricted. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. Less snow than usual is lying.

Tendency

Some new snow: The avalanche danger will persist.
