Forecast Snow Stability: The majority of the snowpack will be firm and generally well bonded. Isolated pockets of unstable accumulations will persist above 900 metres mostly on West to North aspects. Steep wind sheltered terrain such as coire rims and gully tops will be most affected. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining cold with the possibility of light snowfall. Winds will be strong throughout, mostly East with some East-North-East around dawn. Observed Weather Influences: Snowfall overnight above 600 metres. Strong winds mostly South-East throughout. ObservedSnowStability: The majority of the snowpack has started to refreeze becoming generally well bonded in many places. Isolated deeper areas of snow have developed in wind sheltered locations mostly on West to North aspects above 900 metres. Older snow is often icy where exposed to the wind. The avalanche hazard is Low.
