Stubborn Wind Slabs certainly exist across the NE 1/2. These slabs are between 20-30cm deep. Look to avoid where possible or use spacing to mitigate this problem.
Assess any wind loaded slopes carefully! Look to avoid these loaded terrain features where possible, especially when entering terrain off ridge top.

Loose Wet avalanches will be possible across all elevations below 1200m and the NW 1/2 up high. Be wary of the FAFL rising and terrain getting direct sun in the afternoon, even though it's July!
A number of explosive triggered Wind Slabs were reported by Mt Hutt Patrol on Thursday morning. These were all Size 1, in terrain above 1800m & in terrain lee to the SW.
Roughly 85cm of snow fell in the past 4 days. There have been multiple changes in layering observed throughout the storm with numerous rime crusts and density changes. Isolated deposits of wind blown snow up to 30cm deep have been observed in most terrain features lee to the SW. The snowpack below 1800m, on all aspects, has seen some warming and has settled well.
Friday: Patchy cloud but clearing early. SW winds die back to light. FAFL up to 1300m by the evening.
Saturday: Fine, Light SW winds. FAFL 1300m rising to 1700m.
There is no sliding danger right now.
