Points saillants
Cool temperatures have resulted in a hard snow surface and mostly stable conditions. At mid and upper elevations isolated pockets of dense slab up to one foot in depth could be triggered in cliff and rocky areas. At low elevations where warming is expected wet loose and wet slab avalanches could be triggered on steep snow covered slopes as the surface crust softens. These wet loose and wet slab avalanches will become possible at mid and upper elevations as well today if unexpected warming and sun occur.
