Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist, as record-breaking temperatures and the lack of overnight freezes have made the snowpack wet and unstable. Slopes may begin to fail naturally or be easily triggered on steep, sunny slopes as the warming continues. In addition, there is still a looming chance to trigger a large dry slab avalanche near and above treeline, on north-facing slopes.

The window for traveling on supportable snow is narrow or potentially nonexistent. Steer clear of steeper slopes if you're sinking deep into wet snow, especially around exposed rocky features where melting is more intense.
