Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs formed by west winds up to 18 inches in depth exist on leeward aspects. These slabs lie upon lighter density snow and a slick hard crust. Humans who ride or ski into steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones could trigger these slabs. Warm temperatures and potential rain could trigger wet slides on steep snow covered slopes at the lower elevations.
