Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning and will INCREASE to MODERATE as temperatures warm and the snowpack softens. Once significant warming has occured wet loose and wet slab avalanches are possible on very steep snow covered slopes. The wet slide events could step down to the ground. In addition dangerous dry slabs could be initiated by humans, especially by larger triggers such as snowmachines, on very steep upper elevation slopes during the heat of the day. Our last advisory of the season will be issued on Sunday.
