Points saillants

At mid and upper elevations soft slabs 1 to 2 feet deep and old hard slabs up to 4 feet in depth still exist. Weak layers comprised of light density snow, melt-freeze crusts and faceted snow persist in the snowpack. Slab avalanches could be HUMAN TRIGGERED on steep wind loaded aspects that have not already had avalanche activity. With abundant sunshine and warming temperatures in the forecast loose snow sluffs are likely on steep sunlit aspects and cliff areas.
