Avalanche Summary
You might be able to trigger a small avalanche on hard, drifted snow on slopes steeper than about 35 degrees. A few inches of new snow on Thursday night will add to the problem. If the snow feels stiff and hollow, or you see shooting cracks around your feet as you travel, move to a different slope or stick to lower-angle terrain.
