Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above 8,000 feet. Soft surface slabs up to four feet in depth formed by southwest winds exists on leeward aspects. These slabs could be triggered by riders or skiers who venture onto steep avalanche prone slopes. The general avalanche hazard below 8,000 feet is LOW. At the lower elevations isolated pockets of soft surface slab up to 18 inches in depth could be human triggered in very steep, windloaded avalanche starting zones.
