Points saillants
At the upper elevations southwest winds have formed pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. These pockets could be triggered by skiers or snowboarders who venture onto them. These pockets and wet loose slides could also release naturally on steep sunlit aspects if skies clear. At the mid and lower elevations warming temperatures will create unstable conditions. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches could be triggered on steep snow covered terrain.
