Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevations older slabs 2 to 4 feet in depth lie upon weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs could be human triggered especially in areas where the underlying faceted snow is well developed. In December three fatalities ocurred when these slabs were triggered by people who ventured onto them.
