Avalanche Activity

In the last few days large wind slabs formed in all aspects. Remotely triggered avalanches are possible.

The large surface-area wind slabs can be released even by a single winter sport participant in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m. Careful route selection and spacing between individuals are recommended.

Snowpack Structure

The old snowpack will be unfavourable in particular on steep shady slopes. The fresh snow and the sometimes large wind slabs can be released very easily in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2400 m.
