Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You might trigger a small avalanche just below ridges or inside gullies at upper elevations. Look for rounded pillows of snow and feel for stiff, hollow layers. If you see drifts like this, go around them or choose a different slope. Above-freezing temperatures at lower elevations tomorrow mean you might see point releases of wet, cohesionless snow on sunny slopes. Avoid steep slopes where you see rollerballs or if you're sinking up to your ankles in wet snow.

Remember, even small avalanches can be deadly if they push you into a terrain trap. Use extra caution if you're traveling in extreme terrain or above deep gullies.
