Avalanche Summary

With more snow and west to southwest winds, the most suspect slopes will nudge closer to their breaking point. The most dangerous slopes face north through east near treeline, but weak snow and denser slabs extend into elevation bands both above and below. Recent avalanches or cracking and collapsing as you travel are indications to avoid traveling on or directly under steep terrain. Safer travel options are wind-sheltered areas below treeline.
