Points saillants

At the upper elevations strong south to southwest winds continue to drift snow into pockets of slab. Slabs up to 18 inches in depth could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. At the mid elevations isolated pockets of slab to 12 inches in depth could be triggered in the steepest wind loaded starting zones and cliff areas. With new snow and strong winds in the forecast the hazard at the mid and upper elevations will increase as the day progresses. At the lower elevations the snowpack is shallow and avalanches are unlikley except in isolated pockets.
