The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs up to eighteen inches in depth at the higher elevations exist on leeward slopes. These slabs lie upon lighter density snow and slick hard crusts. Humans who ride or ski into steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones could trigger these slabs. Warm temperatures at the low elevations will provide the possibility for wet loose slides on steep snow covered slopes.
