Avalanche Activity

In particular on steep sunny slopes there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet avalanches.

In particular on steep slopes small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation. Slab avalanches are still possible.

Snowpack Structure

The solar radiation will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in all aspects. These conditions will cause a weakening of the snowpack. This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day.
