Avalanche Activity

Fresh wind slabs on south, southeast and southwest facing slopes.

Adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and on steep southeast, south and southwest facing slopes individual avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small. Avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack remains subject to considerable local variations. The strong wind has transported a lot of snow. The fresh wind slabs are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. In particular on southeast, south and southwest facing slopes sometimes deep wind slabs formed.
