Points saillants

Avalanches are unlikely on Sunday.  The weather is looking to be a bit cooler and cloudier than Saturday.  Don't turn your brain off though, continue to make observations and evaluate terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

Despite sunny skies and above freezing temperatures I haven't heard any reports of avalanche activity on Saturday.  A blustery morning likely helped keep the snow surface cool.

Sunday will be one more day of calm before a substantial snow storm.  We will see clouds move into the region and the wind will increase throughout the day.  I  anticipate that this will mediate any Wet Loose avalanche problems in all but the warmest terrain such as sunny slopes below treeline (sadly, there isn't a whole lot of snow left there anyway!)
