Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will continue to thaw at all levels. However this will further consolidate the snowpack and it will remain generally stable. Any remaining cornices will be weak. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be mainly dry overnight and into the morning. Light rain to all levels during the afternoon. The freezing level will remain well above the summits. Winds will be Fresh, South-South-Westerly increasing slightly during the day.

Observed Weather Influences: Light rain in the morning gave way to drier, brighter conditions. The freezing level was well above summits. Winds were fresh, South-Westerly.
