Gradual increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as the moisture increases.
As a consequence of warming, the likelihood of moist and wet avalanches being released will increase gradually, in particular on steep sunny slopes below approximately 2900 m, as well as on steep shady slopes below approximately 2400 m. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in steep terrain at elevated altitudes and on shady slopes. These are to be evaluated with care and prudence in particular in terrain where there is a danger of falling.
Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be good in some case. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. In addition the mostly small wind slabs are capable of being triggered in very isolated cases. These are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain.
Some new snow: The avalanche danger will increase a little during the day.
