Points saillants

The buried surface hoar will eventually become a concern raising the danger rating. It has been found preserved below treeline to specific alpine locations from 10 to 30mm tall. We are waiting for critical mass.

A surface hoar layer is buried a few cm's down. Flurries and winds are forecast now until Wednesday which will incrementally bury it deeper. The danger rating will increase once critical load achieved. Monitor this situation and natural activity.
