Points saillants
Strong southwest winds and new dense snow on top of light density snow have created unstable conditions. Soft slabs one to three in depth lie upon slick surfaces and weak layers of faceted snow. During the past several days skiers have triggered soft slabs on a variety of aspects in the Teton and Snake River Ranges. Natural and human triggered avalanches are likely today. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended at the upper elevations. Extreme care should be taken the mid elevations.
