Avalanche Summary

You can trigger avalanches beneath the recent storm snow. Heed the warning signs of recent avalanches, shooting cracks, and sounds of the snowpack collapsing. Avoiding steep, recently wind-drifted slopes that sit directly below ridgetop is a good way to reduce your risk of avalanches.
