Points saillants
The general avalanche hazard is LOW this morning and will increase to MODERATE in the afternoon. Warming temperatures and sunshine are expected to soften melt-freeze crusts and increase the hazard as the day progresses. Once the crusts soften and lose thier strengh wet slides will be possible especially on steep sunlit aspects. These wet slides could step down to the ground or buried layers of weak faceted snow. Avoid steep slopes, gullies and cliff areas during the heat of the day.
