Avalanche Activity

The weather conditions gave rise to thorough wetting of the snowpack over a wide area. This applies in particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation.

In all aspects large and, in isolated cases, very large moist and wet avalanches are possible. Gliding avalanches can also occur at any time. The new snow and wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in all aspects. In addition the precarious wind slabs should be taken into account.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack remains wet all the way through over a wide area. In the regions exposed to rain this applies in particular. Weak layers exist in the snowpack. The fresh snow of the last few days as well as the wind slabs remain for the foreseeable future prone to triggering.

Tendency

Light precipitation.
