Avalanche Summary

Sunny slopes will pose a threat for mostly small, loose, wet avalanches. The concern will grow as the day progresses. Slushy surface conditions, pinwheels, and roller balls are indications wet avalanche activity is imminent, and it's time to move to shadier, colder slopes or exit avalanche terrain.

You might be able to trigger a larger avalanche in isolated, steep, wind-drifted terrain at higher elevations. Lower-angle, wind-sheltered areas are safer options.
