Avalanche Summary

The most dangerous slopes are wind-loaded slopes facing northerly and easterly directions. The snow surfaces were very weak before the storm arrived and it will take several days for the snowpack to adjust to the most recent load. Avoid traveling on steep terrain at high elevations on aspects of concern and avoid traveling on sunny slopes later in the afternoon to reduce your chances of being caught in an avalanche.
