Avalanche Summary

Cooler temperatures, increasing winds, and cloud cover should help shut down wet avalanche conditions. However, weak overnight freezes may not lock up snow surfaces, so you'll have to assess as you go. If you find yourself sinking into a weak, trapdoor snowpack, avoid travel in steeper terrain where wet snow could be a problem.

A juicy winter storm arriving late Tuesday will raise the danger level into Wednesday if higher snow totals pan out.
