    Slab avalanches to three feet in depth could be triggered by riders and skiers in steep avalanche terrain. These slabs will be most sensitive in typical starting zones and in rocky areas. Caution is advised as slopes may be crossed multiple times before an avalanche is released.

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Occasional snow showers are possible overnight and on Friday in advance of a stronger system that should bring significant snowfall to the area Friday night and Saturday. Westerly ten to fifteen mile per hour winds are predicted during the day before intensifying and becoming southwesterly during the evening. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Moderate in all areas. Above 7,500 feet in the Tetons and Togwotee Pass areas and at all elevations in the Southwest/Greys River area, slab avalanches could be triggered in steep terrain. These slabs could have depths to two feet in the Tetons and to Three feet in the other forecast areas.
