Points saillants
Slabs formed during the recent storm cycle to five feet in depth lie at all elevations in avalanche terrain. Significant settlement and cold temperatures have increased the strength of these slabs however backcountry users could trigger the release of pockets of slab on steep slopes particularly near cliffs and rocky areas.
