Points saillants
Warm overnight temperatures and forecasted highs near fifty will rapidly warm the snowpack today. Wet slides may occur today on sunlit mid and upper elevation cirques and basins. These slides may be triggered by people, cornice drops or melting snow falling over cliff areas. Be aware of terrain traps and unstable conditions caused by intense warming.
