Points saillants
At mid and upper elevations DANGEROUS slabs up to three feet in depth lie on weak layers of snow on all aspects, from hard crusts and faceted snow on Southerly slopes to all faceted snow on Northerly slopes. Avalanche activity continues to be reported in the Tetons, Snake River Range and Wyoming Range by backcountry users. Many of these avalanches were triggered upon approach to slide paths. Some have run full track. At the lower elevations avalanches are unlikley today.
