Forecast Snow Stability: New weak windslab on steep South-West through West to North aspects above 900m. Good stability on most other aspects. Old snow on wind exposed locations will be scoured down to a hard or crusty surface. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight snow showers extending throughout the day. Very strong East-South-East winds easing to fresh by dawn and becoming Easterly. Cold overnight but freezing level rising to near summits by dusk. Observed Weather Influences: Colder with fresh South-East winds. Generally dry but with a few very light snow showers. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. A trace of thin windblown snow on some very steep West to North aspects above 950m. The avalanche hazard is Low.
