The snowpack continues to settle and stabilize. I have not experienced any cracking or collapsing over the last few days. I have not seen nor heard of any significant avalanches. Snow pit tests have been non-reactive. The weak sugary snow near the ground did gain a small amount of strength over the last week. All this points to mostly stable conditions. The trend will be a continued decrease in avalanche danger until more storms roll through.
