Forecast Snow Stability: The snow will start to soften but will remain well bonded throughout. Greatest coverage is to be found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining dry with the freezing level rising overnight to well above the summits. Initially very windy from the North-West but easing and backing throughout the day to the South-South-West. Observed Weather Influences: A bright and dry day. Cold, particularly where exposed to the strong West-North-West winds. ObservedSnowStability: Remaining snow is very firm, well bonded and stable. Greatest amounts are mainly on North to East facing aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
