Central Cascades

Sunday's avalanche hazard will be nearly identical to what we experienced today.  We won't get enough new snow to change conditions, nor do I expect it will warm enough to produce much in the way of Loose Wet Avalanches.  The steepest South slopes would be where any Loose Wet problem would show up.

Things are pretty firm out there.   Overnight freezes mean that most slopes start the day off with a very hard melt-freeze crust.  Today, the warmest slopes melted enough to provide for pleasant riding, but I'm not aware of of any avalanche activity from today.  We aren't tracking any persistent weak layers.
