Avalanche Activity

The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger.

In particular in places that are protected from the wind and on steep sunny slopes more mostly small dry and moist avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming.

Snowpack Structure

New snow and wind slabs are lying on a moist old snowpack. The solar radiation will give rise as the day progresses to rapid moistening of the snowpack in particular on sunny slopes.
