Avalanche Discussion

The daytime high temperature for Saturday is expected to be in the mid 20's F. Too cold to bring on any wet avalanche problems. The weather models are predicting 1+ inches of new snow on Saturday, and there could be some patchy/isolated pockets of very shallow wind slabs on easterly aspects.

On Friday, the only wet loose avalanche activity was observed on very steep south facing slopes above treeline in the Broken Top bowl area. Overall, the wet loose problem did not present itself in most terrain.
