Points saillants

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the morning hour and will increase to MODERATE in the afternooon as temperatures warm and surface crusts soften. Once significant warming has occured wet loose and wet slab avalanches will be possible on steep snow covered slopes. Some potential also exist for highmarking riders to trigger dangerous deep slabs in the higest wind loaded starting zones of major avalanche paths as temperatures warm.
