Avalanche Summary

Wind-drifted features at higher elevations are the places where you could trigger an avalanche. Westerly winds continue to drift snow and add to the problem. Look for and avoid dense snow below ridgelines and in spots downwind of terrain features where snow collects. Wind-sheltered slopes are your safer terrain choices.

Snowfall on Thursday night and Friday morning could be intense. Combined with easterly winds, the avalanche danger could change quickly on Friday.
