Points saillants
At the mid and upper elevation air temperatures dropped below freezing after midnight and were dropping towards the teens this morning. New snow and strong southwest winds will begin to form isolated pockets of new soft slab on leeward aspects. These new shallow surface slabs will gain depth and volume as the day progresses. At the lower elevations the snowpack did not freeze overnight. Wet slides are possible on steep slopes that still have deep snow. This is our last advisory of this season. Thank you for your observations and support!!!
